ESSAY....
Overall, I admit that actually
all of us can perform well in studio. It is not very difficult but we have to
give the best commitment to produce a good products. Now I realized that
interest can be nurtured slowly especially for student like me who has zero
knowledge about drawing at the early semester. What I have learned through this
one semester is do not give up when doing something. When we give up, it will
lower down our motivation and will make us do the task not seriously. Other
than that, for the architecture lettering especially, I have learned about the
quotes ‘Practice Makes Perfect’. The more you practice, the more you can see
the mistakes that you have done and you can correct it spontaneously. Honestly,
I am not interested at all about drawing at the early semester. My mom said to
me, “you just have to try your best in the first semester and if it did not work,
I will allow you to change your course”. When I think about it twice, it will
waste my time one year including the
exchange process to other course and I have decided to continue my degree in
H.B.P. Moreover, based on this situation, there may be a virtue in my case that
Allah want to show to me, that a lot of things we can study and learn on this
earth. So I have to grab this opportunity by learning about drawing and
construction industry even after I have learned accounting and business subject
at secondary school and matriculation. Moreover,
for the individual project, I can say that I am not all out. It is because on
that time I’m still in the process of adapting with the “drawing” surroundings.
Other than that, what I have learned is do not do the tasks at last minutes. As
a H.B.P students, it is normal for those
who do not have enough time to sleep but, when we follow the flow and divide
our time wisely, actually it will not disturb our time to rest. Next, for the
group project, I realized that when we mix with other races and major, actually
we need each other to cooperate and exchange the ideas and opinion so that the
products that we produce is very high in quality. For project 7 and 8, I have
learned how to be a creative and the most important is how to stand together
even if there is minority person that do not want to join and be a supportive
and sporting to their major. Here also I want to thank all my lecturers
especially to Dr. Faizal and Dr. Cheah for being such a great studiomasters by guiding and teaching us. Not as studiomasters
only, they also always give us motivation even though as a seniors. Lastly, thank Allah even I think I do
not perform well in RUS 104, I will prove to my parents and my studiomasters
that I will be the best for the next semester and InshaAllah for my master and
P.H.D.
